The largest monthly drop in the forecast is in the south
The National System Operator (ONS) expects monthly natural affluent energy to increase in the southeast/middle-west, northeast and north sub-markets. Flows have increased 4, 2 and 4 percentage points respectively since the first week of the month. According to the most recent ONS review, the best situation is found in the south, where natural affluent energy should be 74% of the long-term average, a 10 percentage point drop compared to last week. Flows will be below the long-term average in all sub-markets.
Affluent natural energy is energy that can be obtained from natural river flows.
