Rainfall decreased as the month progressed
According to the National System Operator (ONS), hydro plant reservoir levels all over the country dropped slightly in the last week of June.
This drop was less than one percentage point compared to the previous week: 0.4 pp in the southeast/middle-west, 0.7 pp in the south, 0.5 pp in the northeast, and 0.4 pp in the north. This is due to decreased rainfall across the country.
Accumulated levels in hydro plant reservoirs changed little over the month, except in the south, where levels went up more than 30 percentage points, and are at almost 100% of their capacity.
