Flows in the Southeast/Middle-West submarket should be 79% of the long-term average by month-end
The ONS, or National System Operator, reviewed its projections for accumulated Natural Affluent Energy in the month of August.
Flows are expected to improve in all sub-markets except the Northeast, where they should remain at 33% of the long-term average. The scenario is better in the southeast/middle-west, where flows are expected to be 79% of the long-term average, followed by the north (63%) and south (56%). These numbers are 4, 2 and 7 percentage points higher than the previous forecast.
Affluent natural energy is energy that can be obtained from natural river flows.
